A group of 14 pupils' from our A Level Product Design 3D Technology and Design class visited Moyola Precision Engineering, Castledawson on Monday, 22 September 2014.  The visit included an introductory talk on the role of an engineer and the type of work they do at their Company before receiving a guided tour of the workshop floor and meeting engineers and CAD designers who produce work for companues such as INVISTA and Bombardier.  The group thoroughly enjoyed their visit and would like to thank Moyola Precision Engineering for their information and hospitality.

Here is what one pupil had to say about their visit.

"I enjoyed the experience and learned more about the Company and was amazed at how precise they are as a Company and how fine the details are.  I also found to my amazement how it can be more hands on than computer based which would interest me.  We were told about how you can do an apprenticeship there which would suit me better than university.  I will definitely be looking into an apprenticeship after my A-Levels."
