From I was born I have never remembered weather as bad as wet and snowy as this, in England they are getting the weather terribly. Try to stay on the main roads as they would have been salted and not as slippy Try and stay off wee lanes and ally ways as they would most likely would be very slippy as they would not have been salted. And foot paths would also be quite slippy as well so be carful and keep a watch out for the elderly and try to help them the best that you can. 

Wear warm clothing if you’re out and about as it has been -5 to -15 degrees in the last couple of nights. Plane flights and train journeys have been cancelled and some buses even unable to get to places because of the icy roads and snow. AS the salt and grit was running low they had to take sand from the beach to try and clear the roads with it.

People are now driving over the lough with their quads as the ice was about 3 or 4 inches deep people are even driving over it in their cars and the ice is beginning to crack so now and the police are now having to stop people going on the ice that covers the lough in their cars and quads ect.

The snow and ice has also been causing lots of crashing all over the world, you are better getting a shovel and a wheel borrow and salting around the corners in your estate to prevent people slipping and sliding in their cars and crashing because if you just keep driving over it is going to get slipper and slipper, so if you have one of the salter bins get out and do it before its to late!!!!!! You could even save someone’s life by doing this.
